Fog that knows it's the first day of spring and doesn't quite believe it yet — one pale sage rule as equinox, everything else the color of damp linen and unhurried breath.
Why
This palette inhabits the fog itself — the warm amber-linen neutrals (hue 28°) carry the character of damp linen and wet concrete, never resolving into cool gray or bright white. The single sage accent (#8AA68A, hue 102°) is the only chromatic commitment: it doesn't declare spring so much as acknowledge it arrived when no one was watching. Cormorant Garamond at extreme scale with light weight captures the War on Drugs quality the brief demands — letterforms that breathe slowly, seen through glass, tall and unhurried. IBM Plex Mono as the body/annotation voice lands the Wet Leg register: clipped, dry, factual, the margin note left by whoever built the site.
The Perfect Fourth scale (1.333) adds enough drama for the editorial weight of the poster archetype. All radii are 0px — fog has no edges. All shadows are none — fog diffuses them out of existence. The signal tray, sage rule, and suppressed-contrast ground are encoded in the semantic tokens so every component can reference them without reaching for raw hex values.
